Here are the steps to craft a pickaxe in Minecraft:

1. Open the crafting table: Right-click on a crafting table to open it.
2. Arrange the materials: In the crafting table, place three of the same material in a horizontal row across the top row of the grid. For example, if you're using cobblestone, place three cobblestones in a row across the top.
3. Place a stick: Place a stick in the middle square of the second row.
